My name is Gerard McDonald (aka Gerry) and I’ve been providing creative design services and marketing solutions to various agencies, businesses and individuals for over a decade.

Creatively, I am fascinated with evolving trends in design and technical advancements while maintaining every effort to take advantage of the current styles to produce diverse approaches for my clients, enabling their promotions to stand out. Within my own time I also have the desire to pursue creative outlets in both multimedia development and oil painting as well as illustration. This could possibly be due to my parental background in visual arts. =)

Working for a diverse range of industries from Small Business through to State, National & International Groups has enabled me to create artwork and concepts for all manner of final results. From small scale promotions to large scale documentation, exhibition and government campaigns.

My various projects have included corporate identity branding and various promotional materials through to advertisements, reports, promotions, seminar materials, exhibition displays, outdoor and indoor signage, websites and online media (such as email blasts & interactive PDF forms).

Technically, I am well versed with the latest industry skills, programs and design standards. Years of proven design experience and a progressive attitude to improve my creative edge both in designing and technical capacities has lead me to develop an extensive skill set. Starting out in 1996 with a small press company has also helped me achieve a solid background in print ready document creation and also press colour management. Producing jobs based on final results, return of investment and user friendly design.

I have also completed both an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design and Web Design as well as a Certificate in Business Management which helps in understanding client concerns.
